Single-layer ventile, and not bad in the rain. Note the lack of shoulder seams - the sleeve & yoke are all one piece - so there's less room for water to get in:
The underarm seam is a mad shape at the front, because I have pulled the side-seam forwards so the pockets can sit in it, and because I have pulled the front yoke seam down so there's room for a decent neck opening:
It probably would have been better to have used one more part somewhere.
Also, note to self - when making pull-over-the-head styles, the crucial circumference is around the shoulders when you have your arms in the air putting it on. You need more room than you do in a front-fastener.
